I’m at work.
I’m a little grumpy after losing my leading MVP candidate heading into Thanksgiving week.
I could make this about me ....
...but I’m not.
This is about this afternoon’s Week 12 contest between the Bucs & the WFT. After a quick couple user victories in the last 24 hours for the Eagles, the question needs to be asked: Is this a must win for the WFT?
WFT has established a strangle hold on the East division for the majority of the life of the Quarantine Bowl Saga. However, with an unexpected loss to the Rams, compounded with Hands’ momentum (a deep dive investigation into him soon to follow) the WFT playoff path isn't as clear as usual.
Given the Bucs recent regular season dominance, they come into this game as 3-point favorites. WFT rarely finds themselves as regular season underdogs, but with new faces in new places this season hasn't been so regular.
I expect a conservative approach by both sides and WFT winning this game outright. But if WFT loses the turnover battle, then the Bigger Than the Bigger Than the Biggest Game may end up occurring in Week 17 after all.
MY PREDICTION: (+3) WFT 31, Buccaneers 28.
